A confession of, and confrontation with human vulnerability explored through the visual works of a group of friends, mostly from different parts of the world and backgrounds, who although have spent a relatively short amount of time together, encourage and inspire one another’s individual creativity regardless of ideological or religious difference.

`Olaoluwa John Alake 

John Alake is a multidisciplinary visual artist from Nigeria. Alake creates interactivemixed-media art encouraging viewer participation and thought-provoking engagement usingexperimental media and technology. Alake specializes in immersive interactive experiences,traditional and digital cinematography, and 3D animation. He is currently enrolled in the Art,Technology and Emerging Communication doctoral degree program at University of Texas atDallas where he is researching surveillance and mapping technology. Alake has exhibited atmultiple galleries and shown two short documentary films at festivals around the country.

`Zachariah Qureshi 
Zachariah Qureshi is a graduate student in the visual and performing arts department at the
University of Texas at Dallas. His research focuses primarily on transnational cinema, with
particular interest in South Asian cinema. Qureshi has presented he research at several academic conferences and will be entering the film studies Ph.D. program at The University of Texas at Austin in the fall of 2025. In his work he interrogates issues of post-globality, post-modernism, and late capitalism through experimental collage filmmaking.

`Baotran Vo 
Baotran Vo is a multi-media artist who employs a range of mediums, including animation, virtual
reality, painting, digital fabrication, and interactive installation, to create immersive environments that explore the intersection of identity, culture, and memory. Vo is pursuing a Master of Fine in Design and Creative Practice and is a Teaching associate at the University of Texas-Dallas. Vo was an art teacher at Zhang Yaowu Art Center- Houston from 2022 to 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Kinetic Imaging and a minor in Painting and Printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2022. Vo’s work reflects her journey as an international artist and her Vietnamese heritage. Also, her artworks seek to create a space for reflection where audiences can connect with their experiences and emotions. By delving into the themes of displacement, belonging, and cultural identity, Vo's art encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences and to find meaning in their journeys. Ultimately, Vo’s goal is to create a space for connection and understanding where audiences can find solace and a sense of belonging in their identities and experiences.

`Scott Tucker 

Scott Tucker is a musician, journalist, art curator, and current graduate student at The University
of Texas at Dallas. Tucker’s creative endeavors have included opening Blow-Up Gallery in 2012,
Inner.space Projects in 2017 and executing art projects for Neiman Marcus, Crow Holdings, and
The Latino Cultural Center, Dallas. Other community-based works have included serving as the media director for 2023’s Sounds of Deep Ellum and organizing Deep Ellum Dialogues: A
Cultural Inquiry in 2024. Tucker holds a BA from The University of North Texas and is a current
contributor to The Dallas Observer and Alternative Press. Tucker also fronts the bands Aztec Milk Temple (Idol Records) and The Orange.

`KayLee Christine Hembey 

KayLee Christine Hembey is an eclectic Dallas artist who strives to build deep connections and
relationships through her multidisciplinary practice. Primarily focusing on the circle of life and its relation to trauma, Hembey strives to confront the psychological impact of abuse through poetry and instillations. Hembey explores the rebuilding of oneself after the fragmentation of the spirit from trauma. Strongly embracing the strength of inner child, she believes that innocence can prevail despite many attacks and destructions of the self. Through reflection and confrontation, she aims to stitch together the subconscious through memories of what things once were and what they can be now.

`Will von Bolton 
Will von Bolton is an artist and founder of Becoming Conscious, a philosophical platform using art and design to build an operating system for the mind, distributed through culture. With a
background as a music and fine art photographer, Will has toured over 38 countries, capturing
Grammy-winning musicians, iconic performers, and global subcultures. He uses the camera as a
tool to see — to study becoming conscious, identity, and the invisible thought frameworks that shape how we live.

`Vajihe Zamaniderkani 
Born in the culturally rich city of Esfahan, Iran, Vajihe Zamaniderkani embarked on a profound
artistic journey, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Oil Painting from the University of Yazd. Her
academic pursuit culminated with a master’s degree in art research from the Art and Culture
University in Tehran, where she deepened her exploration of artistic identity.
Zamaniderkani’s primary artistic expression is through self-portraiture, a medium she employs to investigate the complexities of identity, belonging, and the human experience. Her evocative works navigate the nuanced interplay between displacement and connection, offering a visual narrative that invites viewers to engage deeply and empathetically. 

Currently, Zamaniderkani is immersed in an ambitious series of paintings and installations that
intertwine art and nature, reflecting her commitment to pushing creative boundaries. This
evolving body of work seeks to create immersive, meaningful encounters, that resonate with a
universal search for harmony and understanding.

`James Benjamin Maker 
Born in Waxahachie, Texas in 1995, Maker received his BFA from The University of Texas at
Dallas in 2018. Maker’s multidisciplinary practice centers on explorations of deep concepts with
a focus on physical sculptural forms using projection mapping, metal work, new fabrication techniques and emerging technology.

Maker’s exploration aims at building connections between the interior and exterior world mediated through the lens of personal experience. Marker has executed projects for Windstar Casinos, Roche Bobois, and The Deep Ellum Foundation among many others. Maker opened ARC Gallery in 2025, located in Deep Ellum to exhibit experimental art projects.
